- Actinic keratoses - usually occurs in older people after prolonged
exposure to sun or chemicals (arsenic). May degenerate malignant.
- Inclusion Cysts - can occur after repeated trauma to the hands and fingers
- Ganglion cysts - the most common tumor of the hand. The liquid content
of the cyst is similar to synovial fluid and the cyst communicates with
neighboring joint.
- Mucous cyst - appears on the face of the dorsal distal interphalangeal
joints of the fingers. It can cause deformation of the nail.
- Lipoma - well delimited tumor with fat content
- Sebaceous cyst - encapsulated tumor that contains sebum
- Hemangiomas - tumors of vascular origin, are treated mainly for cosmetic reasons
- Botriomicomul - angiomatoasa tumor, appears frequently as a result of
trauma, bacterial superinfection as the factor contributing
- Pigmented nevi - are benign tumors of the pigment system
